BLAIR CRIMMINS
AND THE HOOKERS Fri, August 23 8:30pm - 10:00pm |
Blair Crimmins began his current music career in Atlanta, Georgia, with a determination to bring Ragtime and 1920’s style Dixieland Jazz to new audiences. While playing small rock clubs around the Southeast he developed a sound that is at once modern while being deeply rooted in the past. Now four years, and five hundred shows later, he has toured the country playing large venues and has opened for acts such as Mumford & Sons and Preservation Hall Jazz Band. A multi-instrumentalist and music academic, Crimmins writes songs and arrangements for a classic New Orleans style horn section consisting of trumpet, clarinet and trombone. His debut 2010 release The Musical Stylings Of became a college radio sensation on WRAS Atlanta making him the most requested band on the air. In 2012 Crimmins showed his musical diversity by writing and recording the full score for the independent short film “Old Man Cabbage”. The following year, Crimmins was the critics pick for Best Song Writer of 2013 in Creative Loafing’s Best of ATL issue. His last album entitled Sing-a-longs! went to #21 on the EuroAmerican radio chart and earned him a nomination at The Georgia Music Awards for Best Jazz Artist. Blair Crimmins has now released his anticipated 4th studio album You Gotta Sell Something.

DANIEL LIEVING
Sat, August 24 11:00am - 12:30pm |
Daniel Lieving was born to be a musician. At 8-years-young he picked up the guitar and 30 years down the road still hasn’t put it down. Starting in high school Lieving began to find himself in a few different bands doing gigs around the state of Georgia.
Before joining his first band, 14-year-old Daniel found a love for songwriting and has released numbers of songs including his most recent EP “These Seasons” that was released in 2018. Five years prior to Mr. Lieving’s most recent release he started hosting open mics around the metro-Atlanta area. This is where he found his love for other artists— watching and encouraging their growth all the way from their first time on stage to supporting their debut album release. Since then he has befriended many musicians and artists, creating somewhat of a family, being a prime example of how music and art (mixed with a little bit of love) can bring so many people together. |

The Ultimate Aerosmith Tribute Band Sat, August 24 8:00pm - 9:30pm |
What really stands out about this amazing tribute to Aerosmith, is that it sounds so authentic and has such a powerful energy onstage. It’s no wonder though, when you dig a little deeper into this brotherhood of musicians. All of these guys, (while spending time in other bands) have known each other and played together for many years.
Most notably, guitarist and backing vocalist Troy McLawhorn has played with doubleDrive, Dark New Day, Seether (where he was a co-writer of their hit, “Country Song”) and is a current member of the internationally known band Evanescence. But when he’s not recording or on tour with Evanescence, he chooses to play guitar in Pandora’s Box! Guitarist Steve Taylor and lead vocalist Nathan Utz started working together back in 1990 with Sony Records artist, The Blonz, and toured with bands such as Dokken, Poison and Mother’s Finest, just to name a few. The Blonz released the single “Last Call for Alcohol” that made it onto the Billboard charts! Nathan and Steve have been working together ever since and their long career together makes for the same intense and entertaining chemistry onstage that Steven Tyler and Joe Perry share! That chemistry along with Nathan’s uncanny resemblance to Steven Tyler’s voice and appearance, will transport you to the front of the stage at an Aerosmith show!!! The band is rounded out by drummer Michael Foreman and Bassist Trent Horne who hooked up with the band through mutual acquaintances and friendships with Steve, Nathan and Troy. Having worked in and around the Atlanta music scene for many years and on stages all over the country, Michael and Trent bring the positive energy, talent and experience to complete this Aerosmith experience! A strong professionally minded group by day and a stage overflowing with musicianship, showmanship and friendship by night, Pandora’s Box is on a mission to rise to the very pinnacle of the tribute band world in record time!!!!! |
