Sponsorship Information
Festival Overview
What began as a friendly backyard barbeque contest 12 years ago, has evolved into one of the largest BBQ festivals in North Georgia. The festival has been named one of the top 25 food festivals to attend nationwide by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, attracting 30,000 guests to Adams Park in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2011.
The festival features a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned BBQ competition, which is recognized as a Georgia Barbecue Championship contest; as well as a Backyard BBQ, Anything Butt and Peach Dessert Contest. Over $15,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to contest winners.
Attendees enjoy live musical performances, a family entertainment stage, a Kid Zone featuring amazing slides, inflatable bounces, interactive games and other child-friendly activities, delicious food and beverage vendors, and a street festival atmosphere of arts, crafts and general merchandise -- including a selection of sponsor booths with unique products and services that complement the festival and are of interest to attendees.
